Yerevan /Mediamax/. Citizens of Armenia will be able to travel to Russia by air starting from February 1, if they have negative test results for COVID-19.

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has announced the launch of “Travel without COVID” pilot program at a government meeting today, noting that the corresponding decision was made by the governments of Armenia and Russia.

“The pilot program will operate until March 1. I believe it will work because the testing was successful.

Under the program, citizens can download the “Travel without COVID” application on their mobile phones and take the coronavirus test in one of the laboratories, which are listed in the app, no later than 72 hours before the flight.

If the test result is negative, it will show automatically in the application. When departing, the citizens will have the test results confirmed via QR code in the airports of Armenia and Russia,” said the Prime Minister.
