Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has stated today that "we intend to establish closer cooperation with our number one partner, Russia, in the implementation of the upcoming reforms in the Armenian Armed Forces.”

Pashinyan has said he is certain that this will result in a more efficient cooperation with Russia in terms of security and military and technical collaboration.

“We have had intensive discussions in recent months and formed some preliminary conclusions and an agenda for how we want to implement the reforms in the army.

Today I am going to sign the decision on forming a working group, headed by the Minister of Defense, which will put together the schedule for the roadmap of the agenda of these reforms,” the Prime Minister said at a government meeting.
