Yerevan/Mediamax/. Public Television of Armenia and private TV Channels, which broadcast TV programs for children and news programs, will be obliged to broadcast at least one program for children and one news program with Armenian subtitles or sign language translation a day.

Mediamax reports that today, the Armenian government approved the draft amendments and changes to the law on “TV and Radio”.

Armenian Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan noted that as a result of approval of this draft law, chances of people with disabilities to receive information are expected to improve.
