Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has underlined the importance of consistent efforts for prevention of political corruption at the meeting of the Anti-corruption Policy Council today.

Touching on the legislative packages regarding creation of an anti-corruption committee and anti-corruption courts, adopted by the parliament in the first reading, and the efforts toward implementation of these laws, Nikol Pashinyan said:

“Fair pay for the judges of the anti-corruption courts will be the engine of the process and will facilitate proper work.”

The package on anti-corruption courts indicates that five judges of the anti-corruption courts and the anti-corruption court of appeal will consider the civil cases opened on the basis of the law on seizure of the property of illegal origin.
