Yerevan /Mediamax/. Today, President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan spoke about Russia’s possible role in ending hostilities.

At the reporters’ request, Arayik Harutyunyan drew parallels with the 2016 April War, which ended with Russia’s mediation. The President of Artsakh particularly said:

“Back then, Russians were able to persuade Azerbaijan and ask Armenia. Today, Russia must talk to Erdogan. I don’t know how ready they are to talk to Erdogan.”

“Turkey’s direct participation in this war is not accidental, it has not been formed in the last several months or years. Turkey's ambitions for the South Caucasus region and Armenia have been formed for a long time. But they will not succeed because we have heroic people, heroic youth, who are ready to defend their Homeland at the cost of their lives,” said Arayik Harutyunyan.
