Pashinyan to speak with Putin about possible new nuclear power plant

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan wants to discuss the possibility of construction of a new nuclear power plant in Armenia, he said at the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin today.

“I hope we can talk about strategic investments today, and I wish to discuss with you the possibility of construction of a new nuclear power plant in Armenia,” said Pashinyan.

 

He has noted that the Russian peacekeeping mission in NK “is becoming the key factor of stability and security in the region.”

 

“In this regard, I hope to discuss today your views on the architecture of security system in the region, in Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia and around it. I also hope we will discuss certain details of the activity of Russian-Armenian united force,” he said.

 

Pashinyan has highlighted Putin’s personal contribution to stabilization of the region after cessation of hostilities in NK.
