Yerevan, June 22. /Mediamax/. Importers of agricultural equipment, pesticides and seeds to Armenia will be exempted from payment of value added tax (VAT).

Mediamax reports that Armenian parliament approved the draft law on making amendments to the law on “VAT” in first reading today.

The list of companies, which will not be paying VAT, will also include importers of harvest collection, land cultivation, milk processing equipment.

Before making the amendments to the current law only importers of potato seeds were exempted from VAT payment in Armenia.
