Yerevan/Mediamax/. Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan and “Ukravto” Corporation Deputy General Director Andrey Shpak discussed options of importing medium- capacity buses of Ukrainian production today.
Presenting the capital’s transport policy, the Mayor noted that according to a new transport concept which is currently being worked out, medium and big capacity buses will be given priority in the sphere, Mediamax was informed in the press service of Yerevan Mayor’s Office. In this regard, Karen Karapetyan stressed that an agreement was reached to purchase buses of Chinese production, and Yerevan Mayor's Office is ready to discuss mutually beneficial partnership with the Ukrainian company as well.
Citing the previous working cooperation with Armenian market, head of Ukrainian delegation Andrey Shpak noted that Ukrainian buses are competitive on the market and are in high demand, and their company is ready to meet the standards put forward by the Yerevan Mayor's Office and discuss the terms.
The parties reached a preliminary agreement to realize the bus import through financial institutions with long-term and flexible repayment schedule.
