Russian A321 aircraft which crashed on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt because of a terrorist attack.
Chief of Russian Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov has stated this during a consultation at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s office today.
“We can state it was terrorism”, said Bortnikov, Vesti.ru reports.
According to him, an explosive device of overseas production with 1500 kg trotil capacity was spotted in the plane.
Vladimir Putin stated that Russia will find the persons behind the terrorism in any corner of the planet to punish them. According to him, the people who will try to support the terrorists will be held accountable.
The Russian President has stressed that he expects international partners’ assistance in revealing and punishing the terrorists.
