On February 1 in Matena International School launched its first education programs for executives developed jointly with the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo.
First two education programs

Matena has announced the launch of two education programs:
The first one is “Leading Change: Executive Program for Business Managers” for business managers, middle and senior executives.

The second is “Effectively Managing Communities in Armenia: Program for Municipal Authorities” for heads of communities, community officials.

The programs will be held in Dilijan, Yerevan and Moscow in Russian and English. Simultaneous translation into Armenian will be provided. The duration of the programs will be 3 months - 35 participants will be selected for each month. The applicants best prepared to go through these stages of education will be selected.
Registration for participation in the programs will be open until February 14. Admission will be held in two stages – filling out the application through the website and online meeting with the applicant to understand the correspondence of the program to his/her needs.
The first education programs are for current executives and executives only.

We hope this education programs will help the executives to acquire new knowledge, to create new jobs in the communities through the implementation of projects, attract investments, build better private-public partnership.

This, in turn, will have a major impact on solving our current biggest problem. People will not leave the communities and, which is the most important, they will succeed in their own country.
Participation fees and scholarships

Participation in educational programs is paid. Specifically for these two programs, Matena assumes a certain amount of scholarships.
For business representatives we provide up to 25% of the scholarship, and for the community leaders 75% of the total payment, and will try to make it affordable for the community budget or participants.

The school is gradually expanding its network of donors and corporate partners, which in turn will provide an opportunity for an increasing number of participants to study in Matena by receiving scholarships.

Among them are Armen Orujyan, Founding CEO of FAST Foundation, Rafi Baghdjian, Advisor to Foundations, Executive with 35-years of experience at Shell, Lara Tcholakian, Co-founder of Amsterdam’s Center for Boards and Leadership Development (VU), Tigran Khudaverdyan, Managing Director of Yandex Group of Companies, and many others.

Matena will introduce an entirely new quality and form of education having already collected a large database of both international and local experts, as well as combining their experience and collaborating with reputable international organizations.

Matena continues its endeavors, in the upcoming months new programs will be offered for those who seek to improve their professional skills and acquire new knowledge from leading international and local professionals. Courses will be organized and implemented for future executives having the necessary potential.
In addition, free courses will be organized for the youth and students, as well as for the wider community through the huge network of international and local partners.
