Yerevan /Mediamax/. Minister of Health of Armenia Arsen Torosyan has stated today that the ministry continues expanding the reserve of hospital beds for coronavirus patients.
“The reserve is being used at almost full capacity, we have just a few vacant beds,” Torosyan said at the press conference.
Touching on the amount of coronavirus tests, Arsen Torosyan has announced that the ministry is now able to run around 2,500 tests a day.
“Within three weeks at most, we will run up to 3,000 tests daily in the framework of government procurement. Add the number of tests run by private laboratories, and we might have 4,000 tests done daily,” added Torosyan.
