Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said today that changing the time zone of Armenia will take place in 2 phases.
The Minister said that as of the results of the discussions with the experts, it was decided to cancel winter and summer daylight saving times in the first phase (2012) and to change the time zone by an hour shifting from GMT+4 to GMT+3 in the second phase which is due to be realized in 2 years, Mediamax reports.
Deputy Minister of Economy Garnik Badalyan said in his interview to Mediamax that Armenia is in the third time zone by its geographical location but it is included in the fourth time zone under some circumstances.
