Yerevan /Mediamax/. Three wounded persons were taken to hospital after an exchange of fire that took place at the seized Erebuni Police Station last night. One of them is a police officer, and two others are members of “Sasna Tsrer” armed group Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram Manukyan.
Doctors estimate the condition of Pavel and Aram Manukyan as critical but stable.
Pavel Manukyan’s injuries are gun wounds into both thighs and multiple fracture of thighbone, and Aram Manukyan received a gun wound into left thigh. Both are currently in the intensive care unit, placed on medical ventilator.
The wounded police officers is placed in a ward, his condition is moderately serious.
Armenian Police informed at night that “Members of the armed group Gagik Yeghiazaryan and Aram Hakobyan surrendered to police at the seized station.”
“An exchange of fire took place at the seized station, during which a police officer, Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram Manukyan were wounded. All three were taken to hospital. At the moment, the exchange of fire has stopped, and negotiations are underway on completing the surrender of the armed group,” Armenian Police stated.
For now, Police provided no new information on the situation at the seaized Police Station.
