Yerevan/Mediamax/. Sukhoi Superjet-100 aircraft, purchased by Armavia, may undergo further improvement in a year, "RBK daily'' newspaper writes today.
The first serial Sukhoi Superjet-100 was delivered to Armavia on April 19, 2011. As RBK daily runs referring to the aircraft’s technical exploitation manual, all airliners with serial numbers from 7 to 19 (these are delivered to Armavia and Aeroflot) will have a number of airworthiness limitations on aircraft construction and fuel system.
Due to this fact, SSJ-100 will require more serious technical maintenance than analogous airliners of foreign production. According to one of the points, after 2000 flights (it is equal to approximately a year of normal exploitation of a regional aircraft performing 10 hours of flight time per day) the aircraft should be sent to airframe maintenance by 8 points. Aircrafts usually undergo improvement not earlier than after 10000 flights, the newspaper notes.
Meanwhile, Armavia is satisfied with the airliner, the RBK daily wrote.
“From the moment of its delivery the aircraft made 200 flights in total to Moscow, Tehran, Sankt- Petersburg, Dubai, Athens and other cities. There were no system faults except for the problem of the engine receiver, which has not been designed for such active exploitation of the aircraft,” RBK daily quotes the owner of Armavia, Mikhail Bagdasarov.
