Yerevan /Mediamax/. Ombudsman of Armenia Karen Andreasyan has today submitted a resignation request.

The Facebook page of the Armenian Ombudsman’s Office reads this.

“The Ombudsman thanks all his partners for the joint work and hopes that the human rights protection will remain our country’s and society’s priority. There will be no other comments on this occasion’’, the Facebook post says.

Karen Andreasyan has held the post of the Armenian Ombudsman since March 3, 2011.
