Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated that his country is facing double standards for many years.

“Most countries during the years of occupation of our lands did not want to call it occupation, although the fact of occupation was obvious and it was perfectly known who the occupier was. This is called “double standards” and injustice.

We see this today also in the war between Russia and Ukraine: when we liberated our lands with the help of Bayraktar drones during the second Karabakh war, foreign experts and the media called these UAVs “deadly weapons”, and now during the Russian-Ukrainian war they call the same drone “angel”. This is what double standards mean, this is what injustice towards us means, and this is the reality,” Aliyev said.
