Yerevan /Mediamax/. Azerbaijan plans to complete the construction of railway to the border with Armenia in 2023.
Trend news agency reports that during joint news conference with his Moldavian counterpart Nicu Popescu today Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said:
“Azerbaijan started construction of a 110-kilometer railway line to the border with Armenia back in 2021. Currently, 24 percent of the construction work has been completed and it is expected to be fully completed in 2023. Works on the construction of the highway have been completed by 27 percent. This is evidence of Azerbaijan’s responsible approach to its work while Armenia does nothing but contradictory statements.”
