Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Government of Georgia will purchase an additional batch of Javelin anti-tank missile system from in the United States, TASS reports citing the press service of the Georgian government.
According to it, the U.S. Department of State has decided to sell additional Javelin systems worth $ 30 million to Georgia in 2021.
In 2017, for the first time, the United States approved the sale of 410 missiles for Javelin anti-tank missile systems to Georgia and 72 command missile launchers, including two command missile launchers amounting to $ 75 million.
Deliveries were made in 2018-2019.
