Yerevan/Mediamax/. Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said today that "there hasn’t been a fixed date” for the international donor conference for Armenia organized by European Union.
Answering Mediamax’s question today, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said that the comment made by the spokesperson for the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule “doesn’t touch upon postponing the conference either”.
“We talk about the preparation for the conference. Proper organization of such an event needs serious efforts and time. We wish to organize it quickly but properly”, the Deputy Minister said.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan added that the holding of donors’ conference remains on Armenia-EU agenda.
According to the Deputy Minister, Armenia-EU relations are based on shared values and it’s “simplicity” to relate the date of the conference to other issues.
