Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said that Armenia considers Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to be the key security and sustainability tool within the organization’s responsibility.
Armenian Deputy PM expressed conviction at the 17th session of CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation that the agreements reached at the session will allow expanding and deepening cooperation in military-economic sector between the members of CSTO.
According to Tigran Avinyan, special importance is attached to regular political consultations on issues of international and regional security, improvement of mechanisms for prevention of modern challenges and dangers, as well as development of military potential.
He said that the level of cooperation between the high tech enterprises of CSTO member states isn’t sufficient, while the activation of work in high tech sector can become an additional important tool for collaboration.
To fill the gap, the Armenian side offered to activate cooperation in sectors like automobile construction, networks of next generation, aerospace systems, microelectronics and radioelectronics, industrial internet of things and machine learning.
