Pashinyan offers Putin to investigate Russian peacekeepers’ activities

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone talk with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on March 25.

The press service of the Prime Minister issued the following press release:

 

“The situation created after the infiltration of the Azerbaijani units into the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed, which Prime Minister Pashinyan assessed as tense.

 

The latter inquired about the need of investigation of the activities of the Russian peacekeepers in this situation and stressed the need of return of the Azerbaijani armed forces into starting positions by the Russian peacekeepers.

 

The leaders of the two countries agreed to make efforts to resolve the crisis situation in Nagorno-Karabakh”.

 

As of 7:20 a.m. on March 26, the Kremlin has not posted a statement about Putin-Pashinyan conversation.
