Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that “the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh stopped with the decisive contribution of Russia.”

“Russian peacekeepers reliably guarantee peace and security in the region and do a lot for improvement of the humanitarian situation, demining of territories, and restoration of social infrastructure,” Putin said in a video message to the participants of the IX Moscow Conference on International Security.

Putin has described the settlement of regional conflicts as “an important aspect of ensuring global security” and recalled that “our military assistance helped liberate most of the territory of Syria from international terrorists and prevent the collapse of the Syrian state.”
