Yerevan /Mediamax/. The situation in Artsakh continues to stabilize and no ceasefire violations and provocations against Russian peacekeepers have been reported.

“The main provisions of the November 9 trilateral statement are being implemented without any serious incidents. The positive tendencies we see are a strong proof of the validity of the path approved by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia,” said Spokeswoman for Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

She has also stated that the Russian President closely follows all matters arising from the statement and regularly discusses them during phone conversations with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Maria Zakharova has infored that the Russian peacekeepers continue creating favorable conditions for the return of refugees, carry out demining, search for the missing and exhume the bodies of the victims. A humanitarian center has been established, she has said, which involves employees of the relevant state departments of Armenia and Azerbaijan in its activities.

Relevant international organizations are also actively involved in the works.

Zakharova has stressed the importance of not politicizing humanitarian aid and emergency efforts, given the severity of the humanitarian situation in the region.

“It is important to ensure full preservation of cultural monuments and religious shrines in the region, achieve inter-religious, inter-ethnic reconciliation,” said Maria Zakharova.

She has noted that Russia welcomes the statements of authoritative international organizations regarding strict preservation of historical and cultural monuments and sanctuaries in Artsakh and added she hopes that these organizations will apply their expert potential.
