Putin and Erdogan discuss the situation in NK

Yerevan /Mediamax. On the evening of November 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation at the initiative of the Turkish side.

“The two leaders have discussed in detail all aspects of the implementation of the agreements, indicated in the November 9 ceasefire statement of the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia,” said the Kremlin press service.

 

“Vladimir Putin has informed Recep Erdogan about the work of Russian peacekeepers, who effectively ensure the observance of the ceasefire and the safety of the civilian population. The parties have also underlined the priority of solving urgent humanitarian issues related to return of refugees, restoration of infrastructure, and preservation of religious and cultural sites. The two leaders have exchanged views regarding the creation of the Center for ceasefire control and cessation of all hostilities in the conflict zone. Both sides have highlighted the need for consistent and full implementation of the decisions aimed at ensuring stability and peaceful life in the region,” the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
