Yerevan /Mediamax/. Today, foreign ministers of Russia and France, Sergey Lavrov and Jean-Yves Le Drian, expressed concern over the ongoing large-scale hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh.
The ministers urged the conflicting sides for a speedy and complete ceasefire and de-escalation of tensions, the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
“In the telephone conversation, the parties pointed out that there was no alternative to a diplomatic solution of the conflict and highlighted the need for coordinated actions of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. Possible scenarios of further development of the situation were considered.
Sergey Lavrov and Jean-Yves Le Drian especially emphasized the importance of manifestation of political will by the conflicting parties to end hostilities,” Russian MFA informs.
