Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has said that “the Russian base in Gyumri maintains regular arms supply to Armenia’s armed forces.”
According to a Trend report, Aliyev has said in an interview to Italian TV channel Rai 1 that “it is not true that Turkish military is involved in operations in Karabakh.”
“We haven’t even mentioned how many Russian MiG-29 and Su-30 aircrafts there are in the territory of Armenia. We haven’t even mentioned there are 5,000 Russian troops at the base in Gyumri, and according to the information we have, the base maintains regular arms supply to Armenian armed forces. These are facts, contrary to what is being said about us,” said Aliyev.
He has added that “all those accusing Azerbaijan need to sort out their own business first.”
