Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has addressed Armenian people today.

He has stated that Armenians have been “resisting the Azerbaijani-Turkish terrorist attack of unprecedented scale” for almost a week.

“Azerbaijan is attacking the entire line of contact with Artsakh, using hundreds of tanks, thousands of missiles, dozens of planes and helicopters, hundreds of drones and dozens of thousands of troops.

150 to 200 soldiers attack each combat position of Artsakh army, and it happens several times in a day. Syrian terrorists and Turkey’s special forces are also fighting against us. We have information that 150 senior Turkish military are governing the attacks at various levels of Azerbaijani command staff,” said Nikol Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister has stated that the Armenian side is fighting a life-or-death fight, which is why Azerbaijan has been unable to achieve any military goal. “There are no words to describe the perseverance of our soldiers, officers and volunteers,” underlined Pashinyan.

“Now is perhaps the most decisive moment in our history.

They are not coming for Karabakh or any territories. Their goal is to continue the Armenian Genocide. But Armenians living now will not be sent on death marches to Deir ez-Zor. I spoke with some of our commanders and soldiers last night and I saw they were full of unbreakable resolve. Complete victory is the end we envision for this fight.

Our forces have recorded significant success and smashed several special units of Azerbaijani army today. We must break the back of the attacking enemy so that the enemy never casts a bloody eye on our homeland. This is our second Battle of Sardarapat and each of us must be dedicated to one goal – victory. And we will win. Glory to our fallen heroes, glory to the Armenian army!” said Nikol Pashinyan.
