Militants’ involvement inadmissible, Pashinyan and Macron say

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held another telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron today.

During the conversation, Emmanuel Macron highlighted the importance of immediate cessation of hostilities.

 

The governmental press service reports that Nikol Pashinyan thanked the French President for the constructive position of France on the inadmissibility of unleashing the war.

 

The parties deemed the involvement of foreign terrorist militants in military operations inadmissible.

 

The French President highlighted the importance of resumption of the peace process in line with the October 1 statement by the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries.

 

Prime Minister Pashinyan considered unacceptable the infiltration of Turkish and Turkish-sponsored terrorists into the region, emphasizing that it is impossible to restore regional security without the ousting these destabilizing forces.

 

In the context of establishing peace, Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of close cooperation between the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and their countries.
