Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian has stated in the interview to CNBC that "international community has to realize that if you don’t interfere now, Caucasus will become another huge problem for you – another Syria.”
“Nagorno-Karabakh or Artsakh has been part of Armenia’s historical territory for thousands of years. It has always been populated by Armenians. For Armenians, the issue of Artsakh is their faith and history. They perceive this situation as Turkey’s one more attempt at genocide of Armenians, with the help of Azerbaijan. This is unacceptable for Armenians.
The fight will go one and Armenians will prove there is no military solution to this issue. Whether you want it or not, we have to return to the negotiations table,” said President Sarkissian.
