Yerevan /Mediamax/. Defense Army of Artsakh has announced that on October 1 it has shot down an Azerbaijani combat helicopter in the southern section of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone, in Varazatumb (Lele Tepe) area. The helicopter has crashed in the territory of Iran, the Defense Army said.

“The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh states that the incident was not intentional, and since the hostilities unleashed by Azerbaijan are taking place very close to the Iranian border, unfortunately, such incidents are inevitable,” said the Defense Ministry.
