Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev briefed his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the agreements reached with Nikol Pashinyan and Charles Michel in Brussels on April 6.
Azerbaijani president’s press service reported that Ilham Aliyev positively assessed the results of the meeting.
“Aliyev noted that as a result of the talks, an agreement has been reached to set a working group which will prepare a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan based on the basic principles presented by Azerbaijan, which among other things, include mutual recognition of territorial integrity and renunciation of territorial claims. Erdogan, in turn, welcomed the achieved results,” the news release reads.
