Yerevan /Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei stated about "hypertrophied attention” in Armenia to Alexander Lukashenko’s recent interview where he said "Armenia has nowhere to go.”

According to TASS, at a news conference today, Makei said:

“This issue was given hypertrophied attention among certain political forces in Armenia. You need to watch the president’s interview in full - there was not a single mention that someone is forcing another one to join some kind of integration association.”

Makei stated that the implementation of union programs with Russia will help other countries see benefits from the integration.

“The task is for us to achieve such a level of cooperation within the framework of the Union State, the Eurasian Economic Union, which would be attractive for these states. Everything is moving towards this, and the decisions made last year on the implementation of the programs of the Union State will give a very serious new impetus to deepening integration,” he said.
