Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the meeting with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar spoke about the situation created in the South Caucasus as a result of the 44-day war.
He also spoke about the steps to de-escalate the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and ensure stability.
During the meeting the interlocutors stressed the need of ensuring the entry of the UNESCO mission and international humanitarian organizations into the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone given to the threatening statements by Azerbaijani side against the Armenian cultural heritage and the steps already taken to destroy them.
The two also emphasized the need of full implementation of the peace process under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group and the intensification of the activities of the co-chairs.
