Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said today that the Armenian side has handed over a package of measures to Russia and Azerbaijan and is currently waiting for response.
“A package of a number of measures aimed at de-escalation of the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, ease of tensions and increase of the level of security and stability has been presented to both the Russian side and Azerbaijan – with the mediation of the same Russian side,” he said.
“I can not reveal the details of the package, I can only say that they derive from our previously announced concept of mirror-way withdrawal of troops and the creation of additional security mechanisms repeatedly voiced by the government and the prime minister,” Ararat Mirzoyan added.
