Yerevan /Mediamax/. Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan described today Russia’s intrusion into Ukraine as “unrealistic,” Turkish media outlets report.

“I do not consider the scenario of Russia’s intrusion into Ukraine realistic. Ukraine is not an ordinary country, Ukraine is a strong state. Besides, for Russia to take this step, it needs to analyze the situation in the whole world and its own situation,” he told Turkish journalists who accompanied him on his way from Albania to Turkey.

Erdogan also added that he would like to “discuss this issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin.”
