Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said that at the meeting in Sochi today the parties have “registered an essential progress” in the solution of humanitarian issues.

“We worked very constructively today. It was a deep analysis of the situation,” Russia’s president said after the meeting.

“We have agreed upon a number of issues which I consider very important.

The first one is the creation of mechanism for delimitation and demarcation between the two states by yearend. I hope it will take place as soon as possible. There is no obstacle for the creation of these mechanisms.

The second thing is that there is a very important, sensitive humanitarian issue, and here as well we have registered an essential progress.

Finally, the third is that we have thoroughly spoken about the economic issues, development of economic ties and first of all spoke about the unblocking of transport corridors. It relates both to the railway and automobile communication,” Putin said.

Russian president said the vice prime ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia will gather in Moscow next week “to sum up some results and state about decisions we have agreed on today.”
