Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian and French Foreign Ministers Ara Aivazian and Jean-Yves Le Drian have discussed over the phone today that post-war situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and matters of regional security and peace.
Ara Aivazian has drawn his French counterpart’s attention to the issue of return of POWs and captured civilians.
Touching on the efforts aimed at preservation of historical, cultural and religious heritage of Artsakh in the territories captured by Azerbaijan, Ara Aivazian has stated that “the urgency of the matter is especially emphasized by steps Azerbaijan is already taking toward destruction and mislabeling of Armenian heritage.”
The Foreign Ministers have also discussed restoration of peace talks in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship and the schedule of the co-chairs for the nearest future in this context.
