Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian President Vladimir Putin maintains regular telephone contacts with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Spokesman of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has said today.

“The dialogue will continue,” said Peskov.

He has also noted that trilateral meeting of Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders is not in discussion at present.

At the same time, Peskov has said, “a dialogue is underway at various levels, aimed at resolution of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.”

In the interview to “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” program at Russian State TV on October 7, the Russian President has recalled that Armenia is a member of the CSTO and Russia has certain obligations to Armenia within the framework of the treaty.

“As for the fulfillment of Russia’s treaty obligations, we have always fulfilled them. We are fulfilling them now and will continue to fulfill them in the future,” Putin said. The Russian President has added that he has “constant, live working connection” with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and “the Armenian leadership has no questions about the quality of Russia’s implementation of its allied commitments.”
