Yerevan /Mediamax/. Spokesperson for the Armenian Anna Naghdalyan stated today that foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are not scheduled to meet in Geneva on October 8.
“Media reports that the meeting of Armenian and Azeri foreign ministers will be held in Geneva tomorrow are not true. No such meeting is planned.
Armenia’s strict position is that there can’t be a situation when negotiations are held on the one hand and military operations against Artsakh and Armenia - on the other. At the moment, stopping the large-scale military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh is imperative,” the MoD spokesperson stated.
“Armenian Foreign Minister is in constant contact with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and representatives of Co-Chair states,” she informed.
According to Mediamax’s information, OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are going to meet with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan tomorrow to urge Baku to cease hostilities.
