Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Mher Margaryan introduced the Security Council to Azerbaijan’s practice of intentionally targeting civilains and infrasrtructures in bordering communities of Artsakh and Armenia, which results in casualties and cases of unjured children and peaceful population.
According to the Armenian MFA, in a meeting on “Children and armed conflicts”, Mher Margaryan emphasized that the establishment of investigation mechanism for ceasefire violations would give the opportunity to reduce the dangers for the population including children, and there is no justification for avoiding incorporation.
Armenia’s Permanent Representative attached importance to the free and unimpeded access of the humanitarian organizations to conflict zones, which is essential when it comes to protection of children.
