Yerevan/Mediamax/. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov urged Armenia today to integrate into regional projects.
He said this at a briefing in Tbilisi after the meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili, Mediamax’s own correspondent reports.
Elmar Mammadyarov said that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway which will be put to operation this year is “a project of geo-strategic scale linking Asia and Europe to each other”.
According to the Azerbaijani FM, NK conflict affects not only Azerbaijan but also Armenia “leading it to a dead-end”.
“Armenia is leaving the game and doesn’t integrate into the projects. We think that we will be able to influence conflicts with such projects. Of course, Armenia can get involved in the project. We are sure that sooner or later, the Armenian government will consider it and integrate into the projects on a large-scale”, stated Elmar Mammadyarov.
