Yerevan /Mediamax/. Ambassador of Lithuania to Armenia Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė has told Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (ESCS) Arayik Harutyunyan that her country is interested in localizing TUMO, the centers for creation technologies considered an Armenian brand in high-tech industry.
The parties have discussed ways of strengthening Armenian-Lithuanian cooperation and implementing new programs, ESCS Ministry said.
Arayik Harutyunyan has informed the Lithuanian side that ESCS Ministry has changed the laws on pre-school and public education and is currently reviewing the state education standards, discussing the bill on regulations for higher education institutions and scientific activity, and drafting strategies for the education system.
Ambassador Stanytė-Toločkienė has stated that Lithuania is ready to assist Armenia with implementation of various reforms.
