Yerevan /Mediamax/. Ayb Educational Foundation is launching the internationalization of Meghu Armenian Language Contest, making it available to Armenian children in the Diaspora.

On November 23 Georgia, Iran, Russia and the U.S. will host the contest for the first time.

The aim of the contest is to promote interest and love for Armenian language among the children in the Diaspora and contribute to preservation of Armenian identity, national values and language.

The children that achieve the best results in the contest will be invited to Armenia on an informative tour organized by Ayb Educational Foundation.

The registration for Armenian children in Georgia, Iran and the U.S. has been completed, while the children studying in grades 3 to 12 in Moscow schools can still register by contacting the foundation at meghu@ayb.am by November 20.

Ayb Foundation created Meghu contest in 2014 based on positive experience of similar contests Kangaroo and Russian Bear Club. Meghu has been held in Armenia and Artsakh.

Throughout the six years of its existence, Meghu has had more than 232,000 participants from 1001 schools across Armenia and Artsakh.
