Yerevan/Mediamax/. Since September 1, the classes in high schools of Armenia will be starting at 08:30, and in higher educational institutions at 09:30.
Mediamax reports that Armenian Minister of Science and Education Armen Ashotyan said today that the decision on changing the time for classes starting is conditioned by Yerevan City Administration’s striving to ease the load of transport flows in morning hours.
“We responded to the suggestion of the Mayor and will try to jointly solve the issue”, the Minister said.
Armen Ashotyan reminded that secondary schools, which are under control of Yerevan City Administration, have already changed the time of classes from 09:00 to 08:00.
