Yerevan/Mediamax/. During a working visit to Ararat marz, Armenian President Serzh Sargsian visited Ararat gold-mining plant today.

President participated in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the new “Albion” Gold-Mining Plant, which is being built by “GeoProMining” Company. The plant will start functioning in 2013.

The new technology will allow significantly increasing extraction of the metal from the ore of Sotq gold deposit. The President was informed that the events on upgrading production meet international ecology standards.

President of “GeoProMining” Company Roman Khudoley and representative of “Extrata” Company Mike Horn signed an agreement today on providing Ararat gold-mining plant a license for use of “Albion” innovation technology.
