Defense Ministry of Armenia reports that the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces have undertaken another provocation today at around 6.10 p.m. opening fire from firearms of different calibers in the direction of Armenian positions in Gegharkunik section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
During the intense shootout, Armenian serviceman, Private Arman Hakobyan (born in 2002) received a fatal gunshot wound from the adversary’s fire.
“As a result of retaliatory actions by the Armenian side, the adversary has at least three casualties and one wounded,” the ministry said in a statement.
