Yerevan /Mediamax/. Defense Minister of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan has stated that the ministry is conducting an assessment of failures and deficiencies in work, recorded during the war.
According to the ministry, during the meeting with British Chargé d’Affaires ad interim in Armenia Helen Fazey on February 2, Vagharshak Harutyunyan noted that the assessment could lead to changes in the structure, decision making and tactics of the armed forces, as well as in the legislation.
The Defense Ministry also briefed Chargé d’Affaires Fazey on the implementation of the agreements reached after the ceasefire and underlined the importance of the return of Armenian POWs from Azerbaijan.
