Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan has stated today that Azerbaijan is targeting civilian settlements and critical infrastructure in Artsakh with aggressive air and artillery attacks.

“Monitoring shows that no distinction is made between the civilian population and military facilities, which puts the lives of civilians in real jeopardy. Systematic strikes are carried out against critical infrastructure that is vital for the civilian population - means of communication, roads, etc.,” he said.

The Ombudsman has announced there are 4 victims among the civilian population.

“The lives of women, children and the elderly are endangered. Among the dozens of wounded, there are children, women and the elderly,” he said, adding that targeted attacks are carried out against the civilian population of Armenia as well now.

Arman Tatoyan has added that calls for hatred and violence are being made in social networks and the most dangerous and uncontrollable platform is Tik-Tok, where children are targeted. He has noted that Turkey and Azerbaijan are conducting systemic efforts on social media in general.
