Yerevan/Mediamax/. Leader of People’s Party (PP) Tigran Karapetyan stated today that he demands the resignation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsian.

Mediamax reports that Tigran Karapetyan said that the reason for such a demand is not the issue of legitimacy or non-legitimacy of the President, “but the absence of democracy in the country, negative demographic tendencies and the low level of life”.

Tigran Karapetyan informed that on March 21, the rally of the People’s Party’s supporters will take place near Matenadaran. He promised that there will be “many new faces” at the rally and informed on the intention to organize a procession along the central streets of the capital city.
