Yerevan/Mediamax/. Leader of “Heritage” faction Stepan Safaryan said today that “as a result of the changes taken place recently, “Heritage’s” chances have substantially grown as a big vacuum was formed in Armenia’s political field”.
He said that irrespective of the fact how Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) strengthens its team from inside, it is getting weaker as a result of the changes since “there are inner discontents”, Mediamax reports.
“I don’t think the talks whether or not “Prosperous Armenia” will leave the ruling coalition benefit the party. As for the ANC, in fact their recent actions and statements show that their positions have seriously weakened”, said Stepan Safaryan.
“In this situation we are getting much more chances”, noted the head of the faction.
Touching upon the recent loud resignations, the MP noted that “the elections are nearing and the authorities have a serious desire to prepare beforehand for the holding of fair and free elections and on the other hand – to resolve their inner issues”.
